Scrabble gets a typography makeover →

The cover of my book
I wanted to convey the theme of ‘quotations’ using a universal symbol.
So I've put my illustrations into InDesign...
And the typefaces I’m using for each of them is coming together nicely. I want each typeface (the weight, serif or sans serif etc) to reflect the tone of the quote and the personality of the person.

So the other day, we had an illustrator tutorial.
Using my new skills I was able to create my initials using a combination of serif and sans serif type - and then went a bit mental with the anchor points and warped it, just a little bit…
